THE HOUR THAT STRETCHES: June 24

The Hour That Stretches returns to Ford Food and Drink, 2505 SE 11th Avenue, on its traditional Last Sunday, June 24, 7-10 PM. All Ages Friendly, Safe Space For All. Our headliners are the whole bill, again: Bizarro author Lee Widener reading some fables with the insanely beautiful musical backup of Hour favorite Erin Jane Laroue, of Jamais Jamais. We are blessed with two musical spoken-word acts, also featuring Old Portland phenomenon, the white Wesley Willis, Buddy B. Anthony. Buddy's partner in crime Melissa Howells, a veteran of the Portland poetry scene, also brings us her A-game this evening; as well as Swiftian satirist and Hour virgin Aaron Sharpa, Metal scribe and returning favorite Brad Branham, early Hour contributor Ryan Davis...and possibly Your MC reading some more of that broken-superhero story you all loved so much. Come see why this happening has been happening for five years.
